Geringfügige optische Veränderungen (beispielsweise andere Radkappen) erlauben eine visuelle Unterscheidung des Mk. II vom Vorgänger nur bedingt. Die Modelle der Generationen Mk. I und Mk. II wurden für den amerikanischen Markt zur Einhaltung dortiger Zulassungsvorschriften mit Doppelscheinwerfern versehen. Mit dem Wegfall dieser Vorschriften 1993 wurden die Fahrzeuge weltweit mit den bereits zuvor sonst üblichen Einheitsscheinwerfern ausgestattet
