- Substitution of own details in the invoice of a real company
- Before making a transfer, make sure that the specified details are correct, and whether they relate to the specified company.

Bei seiner Vorstellung im Jahr 1956 war die 220 S Limousine eines von drei neuen Modellen mit einer selbstragenden Ganzstahl-Karosserie
aufbauend auf einem Kastenprofil-Rahmen mit seitlichen Längsträgern. Die beiden anderen Modelle waren der 190 und 219. An allen vier Rädern dämpfen Schraubenfedern das unabhängige Fahrwerk. Alle weiteren Neuvorstellungen von Mercedes-Benz profitierten dann auch von der Eingelenk-Pendelachse an der Hinterachse. Die 220 S Cabriolet und Coupé Versionen mit dem verkürzten Radstand folgten danach in kurzem Abstand im Oktober desselben Jahres. Angetrieben wurde der 220 S von einem Reihensechszylinder mit 2,195 ccm Hubraum und obenliegender Nockenwelle
der anfangs 100 PS und ab 1957 106 PS leisten sollte. Während des gesamten Produktionszeitraums bis Oktober 1959 wurden nur 3,429 Cabriolets und Coupés des 220 S hergestellt. Heute sind diese eleganten und luxuriös ausgestatteten Reisewagen sehr begehrt
Dieser restaurierte 220 S wurde ursprünglich nach Hamburg an einen Albert Kremer ausgeliefert und ist eines von nur 150 Coupés mit Stahlschiebedach
aus einer Gesamtproduktion von 1,251. Der 220 S wird vom Einlieferer als in generell sehr gutem Zustand beschrieben. Ursprünglich in schwarz ausgeliefert
wurde er blau umlackiert und mit einem Austauschmotor versehen. Er wird mit niederländischen Zulassungspapieren angeboten

The 220 S saloon debuted in its new 'Ponton' form at the 1956 Frankfurt Auto Show together with the 190 and 219. Like the contemporary 180
the new trio featured unitary construction of the chassis/body
independent suspension all round and drum brakes. Powered by an up-rated (100bhp) version of the existing 2,195cc overhead-camshaft six-cylinder engine
the 220 S was good for a top speed of around 160km/h. A shorter wheelbase was adopted for the Cabriolet model that appeared in May 1956 and also for the Coupé introduced the following year when the Hydrak semi-automatic transmission become available as an option. The Sindelfingen factory coachwork was undeniably attractive. Apart from a power increase to 106bhp in 1957 the 220 S changed little in the course of its comparatively short life
production ceasing in October 1959. Fewer than 3,500 Coupés and Cabriolets were built in that time and today these elegant and exclusive limited-edition models are highly prized
